GENERAL



1) What is PayMate Botty?

AUB PayMate BOTTY is a multi-platform E-commerce solution which allows you to accept orders from Facebook, Messenger, web orders, & inside the GCash App.

AUB PayMate Botty is applicable to Delivery, Pick up (curbside or drive thru) and advance ordering for Dine-in.

Integrated with delivery.

Your customers can choose to pay through QR or E-wallet and any Visa or Mastercard Debit / Credit Card.

Comes with Marketing & Loyalty tools to allow you to run promos/discounts.

With order tracking and analytics.

Purely Transactional fees.

No one-time set up fee

No per outlet fee

No monthly fee

No annual fee


2) Can my Business apply for a PayMate Botty only without QR /card payment acceptance?

No, PayMate Botty can only be offered with digital payments included such as PayMate QR and Card acceptance.


3) Can my Business accept cash as well using Botty?

Yes, Cash and AUB’s digital payments.


4) Do I need to open an AUB account if I apply for PayMate Botty?

Yes, because AUB will auto debit the ordering fees from your AUB account and settle the digital payment transactions with you next banking day.


5) How do I apply for a PayMate Botty?

6) My Business offers services only, not products. Can my Business qualify for Botty?

Yes, however, merchant accreditation is subject to AUB’s evaluation and approval.


7) Is AUB the exclusive partner of Botty?

Yes.


8) What’s the competitive advantage of PayMate Botty vs its other competitors?

In terms of Pricing:

AUB PayMate charges purely transactional fees only. No one-time set up fee. No per outlet fee. No monthly fee. No annual fee

In terms of Marketing:

PayMate Botty comes with a complete reporting system that allows your business to analyze your customer profile and engage them through different promos, loyalty, discounts, referrals, surveys and others easily configured in the Promotions dashboard.


9) What’s the difference between Grab Food/Food Panda and PayMate Botty?

Both Grab Food/Food Panda are considered as a “market place” which means your Business will be listed in their app along with your other competitors. Customers will have to download the Grab Food/Food Panda apps and order from there.

PayMate Botty is a social and web commerce that allows you as a merchant to sell your products/services through your own official Facebook and website.

The social commerce allows your Business to be omni-channel and to interact in multiple ways as customers are already in different social apps.



OPERATIONS




1) Is PayMate Botty for restaurants only?

No, it can be used for non-food and services as well.


2) My Business offers a lot of items. Can PayMate Botty apply here?

Yes.


3) I’m a meat shop/produce business owner, can “weight” be part of the specifications in the menu?

We do not have this functionality at present, but we will make an announcement once this feature is up.


4) I have an inventory system, can Botty integrate with it?

Yes, if you have an API for your inventory system that PayMate Botty can connect to.


5) Is there a functionality in the system that allows an outlet to disable a specific menu/item real-time? Can this be also enabled real-time?

Yes, this could be done per outlet/store level real-time. Your restaurant manager or whoever has access in the system can do this. Customers will not see the disabled menu once they order and will see it once enabled by your outlet.


6) Since you will do the one time set-up, what if I want to add a new menu?

When we turn over our work to you, we will train you on how to do the succeeding updates.


7) What system will you provide us to access/view our orders? What hardware do we need to have?

We will provide you with a web portal/URL and or app which you can access from any device with internet connection.


8) How will we know if there are orders coming in?

An alarm will sound off and it will not stop until you attend to it.


9) What is the radius of each outlet from the person ordering?

Merchants can decide on their preferred radius, and pre-set it using Botty’s DIY platform.


10) Can our Head office view the report of all outlets enrolled?

Yes.


11) Can the website you will provide be re-designed in a different way following our preferred design?

No. We only have 1 back-end set-up. Your logos/branding colors can however be incorporated.


12) My Business has an existing website without any ordering, payment and delivery capabilities. Can PayMate Botty be added here so I can accept orders and payments?

It can be done technically but this will entail a customization cost on our part. We can, however, put a social app button/link in your website so that your customers can still place an order from your existing website.


13) I noticed that you have options for Delivery, Pick Up, Dine in. Can I only get Botty for 1 or 2 options?

Yes, you can set-up the options or any combination of said options.


14) What if my Business does not have a Facebook page yet?

You need to set up one.


15) Is there an issue if my Business Facebook today is a personal account?

There is no technical issue. Please note that you cannot create a Facebook business page, without having a Facebook personal account first. So use your personal Facebook to create your business page.


16) If you enable my Business for social commerce, do we automatically get enabled for web ordering?

Yes, unless you choose not to have a web-ordering.


17) Can we just promote 1 digital channel?

Yes, but you will lose the opportunity to sell and be present in other digital market space.


18) If PayMate Botty is available now on Facebook/Facebook messenger social app, how will we know if you have launched additional social apps already or if you have enrolled us for this already, so we can market to our customers?

We will send you a communication that we have activated your outlets for a new channel.


19) What is your turn-around time/lead-time in PayMate Botty development for my business?

There are 2 activities: (1) Merchant accreditation for digital payment acceptance and (2) Botty development. Once we receive your complete documents, we will process your merchant accreditation first within 1-2 banking days. While Botty’s development takes 1-2 weeks.


20) Can we turn off our PayMate Botty when we don’t want to receive orders from this channel?

Yes.



DELIVERY




1) Is PayMate Botty integrated with Delivery?

Yes, PayMate Botty is integrated today with delivery.


2) Who will shoulder the delivery fee?

You can choose to absorb the delivery fee by requiring a minimum order amount from your customer or let your customer pay the delivery fee.


3) My business has its own delivery fleet, can this be integrated with PayMate Botty instead?

Yes.


4) My Business has its own delivery fleet, can we integrate this in addition to your own integrated delivery?

Yes.


5) My Business is already contracted with a delivery company. Can PayMate Botty integrate with them?

Yes, we can do technical integration with them.


6) Do you have air and sea delivery integrated in PayMate Botty?

None at the moment.

PAYMATE BOTTY FEES




1) Are there one-time set up fees?

5) Will there be extra fees if we avail of 2 digital channels: web ordering and social commerce?

None. We only charge for transactional fees consisting of an Order Fee and Digital Payment acceptance Fee.


6) How do I find out your Ordering and Payment Fees?

7) Can I mark up my online pricing to cover whatever fees you will charge me?

Yes, but your customer might find your prices high if you add up our ordering/payment fees.


8) Can your settlement be on a per outlet basis? Meaning if I have 5 outlets, I will open 5 settlement accounts.

We will accommodate this.


9) Can we also use your QR payments for offline/in-store transactions?

Yes.


10) Can the Senior Citizen Discount (SCD) or Persons With Disability (PWD) be included or set up?

At the moment, Senior Citizen Discount (SCD) and Persons with Disability Discount (PWD) cannot be processed for orders done on PayMate Botty


11) If the online order is for dine-in and a payment will be made in advance via Botty, can our Service Fee be added?

Yes, merchants can set their own surcharge or service fee at a certain percentage, per transaction.


12) How will the payment acceptance fees and ordering fees be deducted from us?

The settlement of digital payment acceptance fees will be made to your AUB settlement account, net of fees. The ordering fees will be debited from your AUB settlement account every month.


13) Are reports available in a dashboard? How long are the reports being kept in the dashboard/system available for viewing?

Yes, reports are available in Botty real-time. Merchants can filter the reports in different ways: by period, by date, by top products etc. There is also no limit as to the period of the report that can be retrieved.
